For all our decorative coatings, the prep is the same.  First we repair any cracks and grind the repairs smooth.  We try to prevent the cracks from returning.  Although we do offer a warranty against chipping fading and peeling, we can't guarantee against cracking.  If the concrete  continues to crack, it will radiate up and crack our product.  Next, we open the pores of the concrete through grinding or an acid wash and pressure wash. 

For the textured finishes, we first apply a skim coat by trowel or spray.  Then, the pattern is laid out by taping or with a stencil. 

Depending on the desired texture, the other layers are either sprayed on or toweled on.  For some looks, additional coloration is performed, then we apply 2 coats of sealer.  Our sealers have UV protectants and provide a nonporous surface for easy cleaning.

Our chip floor is applied as a thick binder, with polyvinylacetate chips blown in for a smooth speckled finish.  You have a choice of color of binder, as well as colors and size of chips in solids or mixes.  The type of binder and sealer depends on the environment of the floor.  You may also choose to have colored quartz or glass broadcast into the floor instead of the PVA chips.
